A donation to statutory goals, or a specific instrument for a school you choose. Donations from abroad are welcome.
How to help →Three steps to an instrument.
Goal for the 2026/27 school year: instruments in 20 institutions.
Applications are open all year. Every handover will be shown here: institution, town, photo and a word from the teacher. Every drum from the programme carries the POLMUZ Foundation mark.
Instruments for institutions that teach people to play.
The programme is for anyone who teaches people to play or gives others a place to play: institutions, companies and individuals running a school, community music programme, rehearsal room or studio. Tell us what percussion equipment you need, we verify the activity and send an offer with a price for your institution, including substantial financial support from the foundation. We do not give cash: we build the instrument and deliver it ourselves.

Application
The form below: who you are, who you teach, what you need. We reply within a few working days.
Verification and priority
Priority goes to institutions that have never received an instrument, then to those refused a grant, then in order of application.
Offer, contract, delivery
A qualified institution receives an offer with the price including the foundation's support. The contract is signed by e-mail in 5 seconds, no paperwork or visits. The POLMUZ Foundation issues the invoice.
Frequently asked questions
Isn't this a shop in disguise?
No. The foundation does not run a shop and does not sell instruments for private use. Financial support is available only to verified institutions, companies and individuals running a music or education activity, and by statute (§ 13) all of the foundation's income goes to its statutory goals. The detailed rules are set out in the Programme Regulations adopted by the board, published before the first handover.
How much does an instrument cost in the programme?
Noticeably less than in a shop. We show the support and the price in each institution's offer, after verification. The amount can be covered by the institution, by a donor who "adopts" the institution, or by a grant we help with.
We can't even afford the supported price. What then?
Apply anyway. Some instruments are funded from donations, and in the "For principals" section we describe programmes institutions can use to fund instruments. We prepare a quote and specification for the application.
Can our institution get an invoice?
Yes. The contracting party and invoice issuer is always the POLMUZ Foundation.
What if the instrument breaks?
Instruments carry the foundation's warranty. Small things, such as replacing a head, the institution does itself. At handover we show how to tune and care for the drum.
Can donors from outside Poland help?
Yes. Bank transfers in PLN or EUR are welcome; the account details are in the "Support us" section. Tax treatment of donations depends on your country.
Application form
We collect only the data needed for verification and contact. Applications that do not meet the programme conditions are left unanswered, because we have no office to reply to everyone.
Where to find money for instruments.
We advise Polish institutions which programme can fund their instruments and prepare the quote and specification for the application. Deadlines refer to the 2026 calls; most repeat every year.
We do not promise grants; we help prepare them well.
Craft, education, music.
The POLMUZ Foundation was established in Gdynia, Poland in July 2025. It grew out of a drum workshop where drums have been built by hand for years: drilling, bearing edges, waxing the shell interior, tuning. We know what such an instrument costs to make, and we know a school does not have to pay a retail price for it. We are the first foundation in Poland that builds instruments itself and sells them to institutions with substantial financial support.
Board
Tomasz Stukan, President of the Board, founder. The board is a single person and represents the foundation independently. Nobody at the foundation draws a salary.

Every donation turns into an instrument.
The foundation has no staff and no office. Donations cover the financial support for institutions and the building of instruments in the programme. You donate by bank transfer.
Donation to statutory goals
Common amounts:
Beneficiary: Fundacja POLMUZ, ul. Szczecińska 38/2, 81-326 Gdynia, Poland
Reference: Donation to statutory goals – music education
Polish taxpayers can deduct donations from income: individuals up to 6%, companies up to 10%. A bank transfer confirmation is enough; public-benefit status is not required. A monthly donation lets us plan instrument production for a whole term. For transfers from abroad, ask us for the BIC/SWIFT code.
Give an instrument to a specific school
Want your donation to go to a particular institution, say your child's school or the orchestra in your home town? Write to us. We will agree which instrument is needed, and you will receive a photo when it arrives and a nameplate with your name on the drum.
Reference: Earmarked donation – instrument for [institution name]
Companies and in-kind donations
We also accept production materials (wood, hardware, drumheads) and used drum kits, which we restore and pass on. We issue a written acknowledgement of every in-kind donation.
Everything on record.
The activity report for 2025 will be published here by 31 December 2026, as required by Article 12 of the Polish Foundations Act.
